The angle is a little weird, and I promise to get a better quality image up as soon as I can... I think that this may be one of my best so far - in terms of shading etc (even though you can't really tell from this photo, again sorry about that). It was supposed to be a self portrait, but I didn't use a reference pic or even bother to "look" at myself while drawing it and as a result it really doesn't look like me! Oh well, I still think it's better than most of my previous work. I also tried something new with the eyes and hair in this piece, after reading several tutorials here on dA. Anyways, if anyone has any advice, suggestions, tips and so forth for a new artist, I'd really appreciate the input! Thanks a bunch in advance  |
